On November 1, 2023, at 11:34 AM A deputy from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office initiated a
traffic stop on Ohio River Blvd. in New Cumberland, WV. When the Deputy approached the vehicle,
he detected a very strong odor of marijuana from inside. The driver of the vehicle was identified
as Jeremy Allen Brown of East Liverpool, OH. Deputies conducted a search on the vehicle and found
five different types of controlled substances, items used for the distribution and sale of controlled
substances, and a sum of cash. Mr. Brown was then arrested and charged with possession with
intent to deliver Cocaine, Marijuana, Oxycodone, Diazepam, and Alprazolam. Jeremy Brown was
also wanted on charges from Columbiana County, OH for being a fugitive from justice
