Winter Watercolor Workshop
Bob Watson, a local artist, will be instructing a watercolor workshop with techniques that can be used to paint still-life and landscapes. The first part of the workshop will have a warm-up and practice session aimed toward placing people in paintings. The second part will be producing a watercolor that will be based on a subject provided by the artist and will have impressions of people in the painting.
Techniques will include methods for protecting white space, gouging, scraping, and producing texture. Painting types will include simple and quick to more detailed works. Participants must be eighteen years of age or older.
