The Newview CEOS volunteers will hold their next meeting on Wednesday, March 7, at the Hancock County Senior Services Center on Gas Valley Road. The meeting will commence at noon, following a light lunch provided by the Center at 11:00.

The lesson for the month will be “The Bloom Room: Floral Design Basics,” presented by CEOS member and WVU Master Gardener, Doris Musselman. In this lesson we will learn there is no secret to creating our own beautiful flower arrangements and we need not be experts to create them. Come, learn the difference between focal and filler flowers, greenery, how less is sometimes more, and how easy and satisfying it is to decorate with flowers.

The public is cordially invited to join members for both lunch and the lesson. The meeting and lesson are free but, if having lunch, the normal Senior Center fee of $5.00 will apply.
