  • Helen Louise Hutton, 98 of Chester, died quietly at home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.Her parents, Robert Haynes, and Ethel Hoy Haynes raised her in Newell, WV.Helen married and moved to Chester with her husband, Wayne, where they lived for 57 years and raised six children.She worked at the East Liverpool telephone office after graduating high school. As her family grew, she became a full-time homemaker. Helen was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chester. She was active in the choir and the Mary Martha Circle.Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles Wayne Hutton; two sons, Stephen Wayne, and Charles Wesley Hutton; two brothers, Gail, and Donald Haynes; a sister, Virginia; and a grandson, Nathan Keller.Surviving her are son, Mark and his wife Teresa Hutton of Chester, daughters, Susie and her husband Ron Cochran of Port Charlotte, Florida, Janet and her husband Chad McIntosh of Salem, Virginia, Emily, and husband Brian Six of New Cumberland; grandchildren, Heather Hutton, Charles Wayne Hutton II, Cody Hutton, Holly Dawson, Jessica Robertson, Kara Crusse, Megan McIntosh, Brenna McIntosh, and Zachary Six. Great-grandchildren include Marlana Hutton, Alexis Keller, Adalyn and Ellie Ann Dawson, Beau and Shep Crusse, Ashton, Aspyn, and River Six, Aria Lynn Hutton, and Maeleigh, and Amelia Hutton. In addition, there are two great-great-grandchildren, Carsenn Lance and Collin Cline, and step-grandchildren, Jessica and Garret Six, Tonia and David Cochran, and Tai Johnson.Pastor Tim Bess will officiate the service on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with her family, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 PM.  The interment will held at Locust Hill
