OBITUARY: Elizabeth “Beth” Ewing

Elizabeth “Beth” Williams Ewing, 71 of Fort Worth, Texas and formerly of Chester passed away of natural causes on February 14, 2024.

She was born in East Liverpool on December 31, 1952, to the late Harry (Bob) and Edna Williams.

Beth worked as a Geriatric Social Worker for many years, and she was an accredited member of the National Association of Social Workers. She graduated from Oak Glen High School, Bethany College, and West Virginia University. Beth was a voracious reader, and she enjoyed antique shopping.

Along with her parents, her brother, Skip Williams, and niece, Carrie Williams preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Retired Colonel Robert Ewing, US Army, her children, Ryan, Ross, Rhys, and Reagan, her sisters, Connie Malloy, and Jody (Mark) Shenton of Chester, and sister-in-law, Lee Ann Williams of Virginia. Three grandchildren, Skylar, Tyler, and Ryder survive as well.

Beth was a quiet and gentle soul with a warm smile and a caring persona. She knew how to make all people feel loved as well as all creatures great and small. She was intelligent, found humor easily, and always showed compassion for her fellow man.

Per her request, no services will be held, her only hope was that others remember her with fondness and for others to live with kindness.
