He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Glendale Church of the Nazarene.He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy (McCune) Taylor. Surviving are two sons, Scott Taylor and Mike (Sherry) Taylor both of Newell; and two grandchildren, Madison and Hunter Taylor.Visitation will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 from noon until time of funeral service at 2pm, at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV. Military services will be conducted by American Legion Post 121 – VFW Post 6450 Honor Guard, at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens Newell, WV.
