“Weirton, WV – The Top of WV Arts Council TOWVAC proudly presents “Every Child is an Artist,” a captivating exhibition
featuring the imaginative works of students in grades 5-8 from Brooke, Oak Glenn, Saint Joseph the Worker, and Weir
middle schools. Hosted at the Summit Art Gallery located at 3539 Main Street in Weirton, WV, the exhibit promises to
be a celebration of creativity and youthful expression.
The opening reception, scheduled for March 12th, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., invites art enthusiasts, families,
and the community to view the talent and vision of these budding artists. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage
with the young creators and gain insights into their inspirations.
“We’re thrilled to showcase the vibrant artwork of these talented young individuals,” said Priscilla Runkel, TOWVAC
member and organizer of the show. “This exhibit is a testament to the power of art education in fostering creativity and
self-expression in our youth.”
In addition to the opening reception, light refreshments and snacks will be served, creating an inviting atmosphere for
guests to mingle and appreciate the artwork. Ample parking is available behind the building for attendees’ convenience.
The exhibition will remain open from Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., until Friday, May 3rd, providing
ample opportunity for art lovers to experience the diverse talents showcased by these young artists.
