Preston Cole, 17, Preston is the son of Devon (Tom) Lacey of Newell, WV and Rob (Jodi) Cole of Weirton, WV.  Preston is a two-year letter winner in golf, three-year letter winner in soccer with receiving Honorable mention his sophomore year.  He was also a four-year member of the basketball team, lettering his sophomore, junior and senior years. During the 2022-2023 season he received 2nd team All-Conference Honors and this year 2023-2024 he received OVAC 2nd Team Honors.  He currently is a four-year member of the Oak Glen Baseball team where he has been a letter winner all of those years along with being part of the 2023 WV AA Section Championship team and the Regional Runner Up. 

Preston was a Prom Court attendant his junior year, along with being on Sadie’s Court his senior year. He also has had the privilege to participate all 4 years in the Homecoming Olympics.  In August of 2018 he received the All-American Golden Glove Award while playing on the All-American Baseball team in Kentucky. Preston’s plans after high school are currently undecided but he is looking into getting his bachelor’s degree in PE Education.
