Dorothy Louise Higgs, 88, of New Cumberland, WV passed away Wednesday May 22,2024 at Select Special Acuity Care Weirton, WV.
She was born January 7, 1936 in Round Bottom, OH a daughter of the late John William Eickleberry & Annabell (Mcintock) Eickleberry. She is also preceded in death by her husband Harold Matthew Higgs 2000; a son John Higgs 2009 ; an infant daughter Carol Lynn Higgs 1968 and a brother Paul Eickleberry.
Dorothy was a Homemaker. Surviving are her children: Nancy Kirkbride New Manchester, WV; Susan Simpson and Peggy Higgs both of New Cumberland, WV; 15 Grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 11:00 am until time of services at 3:00 pm at Turley Funeral Home.
Services will be there Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Turley Funeral Home with Jeff Berry officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery New Manchester, WV.
