UP-DATE ON VEHICLES BROKEN INTO IN NEWEL

    Chester Police Patrolman M. Campbell observed these suspects and instructed them to stop. The three suspects fled into a wooded area near Metsch Refractories. Patrolman M. Campbell apprehended one male on Ferry Road. The other two males continued fleeing. Sgt. H. Tate deployed K9 Gabe with Deputies C. Oaks and C. Minger into the wooded area to track the subjects, K9 Gabe located the two males lying in the woods. One male was taken into custody while the third attempted to flee and was taken into custody by Deputy C. Minger. All three suspects were arrested and transported to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department. Two of the suspects are juveniles. All three suspects are residents of East Liverpool, OH. While conducting the investigation it was determined that these three individuals were the same ones who broke into the cars early Saturday morning in Newell.
