Jacqueline R. “Jackie” Goodlin, 67, of Chester, passed away, on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville. Born, on April 10, 1957, in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edith Barbera Howell.
She was a proud homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to cook and care for her family. She enjoyed playing pool, shooting guns, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time with her friends. Jackie was a former Chester American Legion Post #121 Women’s Auxiliary member.
Jackie will be deeply missed by her husband of 48 years, Robert “Boo” Goodlin; son, Eric Savors and his wife, Theresa of Fairview, WV.; brother, Pete Howell; sisters, Barb Robinson, Rita Howell and Shirley Simcox; grandchildren, Taylor Cox and Colton Savors-Cox. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins will also miss her. Jackie was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ray Robinson.
Per Jackie’s wishes, no services are planned at this time. She is in the care of the Arner Funeral Home.
