Wellsburg, WV – The Rivertown Inns and Top of WV Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) are excited to announce the 2024 Art Hop in Wellsburg, WV, set for Saturday, October 12th, 2024. This unique event will feature a variety of local art and artisan creations displayed at three of Wellsburg’s historic bed and breakfasts: the Historic Sarah Miller House, Arabian Nights Bed and Breakfast, and Aunt Mary’s Bed and Breakfast.
The Art Hop will showcase the talents of six local artists and artisans: Devin Ashmore, Joyce Beatty, Cara
Monigold, Ashley Otto, James Sulkowski, and Nancy Wright. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy art
displays, live music, and explore Wellsburg’s charming and historic inns, all while supporting local artists.
The event schedule includes:
- 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Art displays at the three bed and breakfasts.
- 12 – 1:30 p.m. – Lunch at the Historic Sarah Miller House (RSVP required by October 5th).
- 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. – Continue visiting art displays across all three inns.
- 4 – 6 p.m. – Closing reception at Arabian Nights, featuring door prizes and music by Aaron Carey.
The lunch, priced at $30 per person, includes a delicious autumn-inspired menu featuring roasted butternut squash
soup, autumn mixed green salad, smoked turkey with bacon and cranberry mayo, and sugar cream pie. Reservations
for lunch must be made by October 5th to [email protected]. All other Art Hop activities are free and open to
the public.
