The Hancock County Board of Education took action on the following personnel matters at Tuesday’s Board Meeting.
The Board:
**Accepted the resignations of Natasha Jobe, Multi-Categorical/Autism, Oak Glen High, and Brenda Evans, Multi-Categorical/Autism, Weirton Elementary;
**Approved the following as countywide substitute teachers: Judith Compton, Stephanie Baumgardner, Briana Subrick, Jacquelyn Eddins, Adriana Lenhart, Tiffant Karnich and Connor Mort;
**Transferred Anna Mastrantoni from Science (grade 5), Oak Glen Middle, to Family & Consumer Science, Oak Glen High;
**Approved teaching in lieu of planning for Heather Stewart, Math, Weir Middle, Amy Durkin, Special Education, Weir High, Kayla Violet, Special Education, Weir High, and Sara Jackson – first semester -Oak Glen High, second semester -Weir High;
**Resignation was accepted from Anna Grimm, assistant Girls’ Track, Weir Middle;
**Oak Glen Middle Coaching assignments were approved Camden Barr, assistant Wrestling, and Christina Rush, assistant Boys’ Track;
**Weir Middle Coaching assignment was approved for Jessica Naughton as assistant Girls’ Basketball to fill a leave of absence.
**Elizabeth Walsh was approved as Skills USA sponsor at the JDRIV Career Center;
**Kellie Patterson was approved as Sophomore Class sponsor at Oak Glen High;
**Substitute Service personnel approved included Kiley McCoy, substitute LPN/Aide; Jeanette Strickler, substitute custodian/food truck driver; Raymon Mostowski, substitute teacher/food truck driver and Melinda Gruda, substitute aide.
**Ronald Richmond was transferred from Custodian IV/GM, Maintenance Dept. to Custodian IV/GM, Weir High;
**Doug Allison was transferred to Bus Operator #143;
**James Barr was assigned to the Bus Garage as Mechanics Helper Substitute;
**A resignation from Tyler Johnson, mechanic, Transportation Dept., was accepted;
**Bethany Henderson, Bus Operator, was granted a Leave of Absence;
**Karli Sutton, Supervisory Aide, ECCAT, Weirton Elementary, was granted a Leave of Absence;
**Kristin Burch
Supervisory Aide/ECCAT, Weirton Elementary, was granted one dock day;
