Hancock County voters went to the polls in record numbers in the 2024 General Election with 65.99 percent of registered voters voting. A total of 8,956 went to the polls election day with 3,624 early voting. Absentee voters numbered 513.
Only one Democrat on the County ticket was elected. Joe Alongi (D) ran unopposed for the position of Assessor. Sheriff Scott Gittings (R) defeated challenger Deszo Polgar (D). 1st District Delegate Pat McGeehan (R) ran unopposed as did Prosecutor Stephen Dragisich (R).
The Hancock County School Bond Levy was approved by voters.
