In conjunction with the Chester Hometown Christmas, the Chester Lions Club will hold its Dave Smith Memorial Chili Cookoff at the Chester Fire Station from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.. , Dec. 7. Chili must be prepared prior to the date of the cook off and brought to the Fire Station in a container that will allow the chili to maintain a safe temperature.

Prizes will be awarded in one category and can be any type of chili. Guest judges will select the winner. A Peoples Choice category will also award a prize and will be selected by those in attendance.
