Chad A. Parnell went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after his battle with cancer at UPMC Shady Side Hospital in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.He was born at Beaver Medical Center, PA, on December 14, 1992, and passed away at 32.He is survived by his mother, Annette Parnell McCoy, and stepfather Christian McCoy of New Cumberland, his daughters, Caylaa Korbelic, Anastasia Parnell, and Dahlia Parnell, his sisters, Kelsey (Joseph) Kauffman and Samantha McCoy, his good friend, Gage Pinkerton, his niece, Audree Byers, and his maternal grandparents, James and Linda Parnell. Also surviving are his uncle, James (Wendy) Parnell, and his aunt, Denise (Dan) Luffy.Chad’s life revolved around his daughters; they are left with many fond memories of their dad. Some of Chad’s most cherished times were sitting around the campfire with his kids and family. Born and raised in his hometown of Hookstown, PA, Chad was a 2011 graduate of South Side High School, and he had served as a volunteer firefighter with both the Hookstown and Hanover fire departments. Chad worshiped his Lord and Savior at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Hopewell. He worked as a warehouse associate at the American Tire Distribution Warehouse in Clinton.His uncle, Reverend James M Parnell will conduct the funeral service at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday, December 28, at 1:30 p.m. Friends are invited to visit with his family at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Following Saturday’s celebration of life, he will be laid to rest at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery. Following the interment, family and friends will gather at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 1393 Gringo-Clinton Rd. Aliquippa, PA. for a continued time of remembrance.
