Donald L. Barnhart, 84, of New Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025. He was born on July 7, 1940, in Steubenville, the son of the late Donald and Mildred (Griffin) Barnhart. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Jerry Barnhart, a brother, David Barnhart and a great-grandson.
Don retired from Weirton Steel, he was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, WS Twenty Five Year Club and the Methodist Men’s Group.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Bonnie (Reese) Barnhart, at home; two sons, Donald (Theresa) Barnhart of New Manchester and Randy Barnhart of New Cumberland; a daughter, Lynette (Rob) Martin of New Cumberland; a step-son, Richard (Leng)White of Fl., a daughter-in-law, Tracy Barnhart and twelve grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, William (Rose) Barnhart of Weirton.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Nixon Funeral Home of New Cumberland from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Where Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at New Cumberland
