Rebecca Ann Glover, 68, passed away on February 26, 2025, in Adams, Tennessee, surrounded
by her loved ones.
Born on May 27, 1956, in Weirton, West Virginia. Rebecca dedicated her life to caring for
others. From her earliest days, she possessed a remarkable capacity to prioritize the needs of
others, a trait that would define her life’s journey. As a devoted nurse for over 30 years, she
spent her career offering compassion and expertise to those in need.
Rebecca’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She found great meaning in the Book of Ruth,
cherishing its lessons on the importance of love, sacrifice, and God’s care for all people. One of
her favorite verses of the story,
Ruth says to Naomi, “Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your
people will be my people and your God my God” (Ruth 1:16b).”
She lived by these words daily by consistently placing the needs of others before her own, just as
Ruth did for Naomi. Rebecca was an ordinary person with an extraordinary commitment to the
things she valued most: her God and her family.
Rebecca now joins her beloved parents, Raymond (Arles) Tabor Sr. and Ann Tabor, her brother
Ron Tabor, and her cherished nephews, Justin Tabor and Mark Tabor, in eternal peace.
Her legacy of love, sacrifice, and perseverance lives on through her devoted husband, Carl
Glover and her loving siblings, Raymond Tabor Jr. and Kim (Ken) Capozzoli; and through her
surviving legacy of her three treasured children: Jared (Ashley) Granato, John (Trice) Hirkala,
and her daughter Stephanie (Mark) Jeffords. Her memory will also be forever cherished by her
beloved nieces and nephews, and by her adoring grandchildren: Ben, Bella, and Cayce Granato,
Madison and Tessa Hughes, Skyla, Olivia, Bryce, and John Jr. Hirkala, Tucker Jeffords, Devon
Becker, Kailey Owens, and her precious great grandson Hudson Becker.
A funeral service will be held on March 5, 2025, at Nixon Funeral Home, located at 900 Ridge
Ave., New Cumberland, West Virginia, 26047. A visitation service will be held at 11:00 AM,
followed by her burial service at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring her
memory and sharing stories of her enduring spirit.
Rebecca’s legacy of selfless love, unwavering faith, and remarkable strength will continue to
inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her
