HB 3012 Passes House in Senate Finance Awaiting Action

HB 3012 passed the House last week with the Committee Substitute language intact. The 1 % racetrack video lottery language has remained intact with New Cumberland, Chester and Chester receiving equal distribution.

The Bill is now in the Senate and has a single reference to Finance. Monday’s Finance Committee Agenda is focused on Senate Bills as the date approaches where all bill must pass out of their originating house to the other chamber in order to pass. Should the Senate amend the bill either in Senate Finance or on Second reading on the floor of the House, when it returns to House, a conference committee will be appointed to work out the differences. Should the committee substitute return unamended from Senate, the House can concur and the bill will be on its way to the Governor for his signature.
