WEIRTON, WV – The Tri-State Area Master Gardeners are excited to announce their annual spring Plant Sale, scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Gabe’s parking lot in Weirton. This highly anticipated event brings together plant lovers, gardeners, and community members from Brooke, Hancock, Jefferson, and Columbiana Counties to celebrate the joy of growing.
Our Master Gardeners have a lot of different plants and garden items, including perennials, annuals, succulents, shrubs, cannas, vegetables, herbs, and houseplants. Attendees can also grab a 2025 Tri-State Area Master Gardener Association (TAMGA) calendars, participate in a raffle, and shop for Mother’s Day gifts, hanging baskets, and more.
“The plant sale is not only a great way to kick off your spring gardening, but it also supports the important work our Master Gardeners do in the community,” said Zachary White, WVU Extension Agent for Hancock County. “Proceeds help fund educational programs, beautification projects, and other outreach efforts that benefit our region.”
The Tri-State Area Master Gardeners serve as horticultural ambassadors through WVU Extension, offering research-based knowledge and promoting sustainable gardening practices. Their work spans across county lines, enriching lives and landscapes through volunteerism and stewardship.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, the plant sale is the perfect opportunity to connect with experts, pick up quality plants, and learn how to help your garden thrive.
