Incumbent Mayor Will White won a four-year term as New Cumberland mayor over challenger Councilman Mike Watkins. Unofficial tallies show White with 74 votes and Watkins with 33. All other races were unopposed. Unofficial tallies show the following: Ward 1, Seat C – 4-year term, Penny Spilecki -39 votes; Ward II, Seat A- 4-year term, Boe Cline -62 votes; Seat C- 4-year term- Jo Ellen Kessel -59 votes
The Charter Amendment which increases the new Mayor’s salary from $2,400/annum to $4,800/annum passed with 88 in favor and 16 against.
