Zachary White, 4H agent and WVU Extension agent, received an award from the Make It Shine program of the Dept. of Environmental Protection as “teacher of the year.” White taught a class on nature, conservation and the environment to third grade students at Allison Elementary. An award of $1,000 was also presented to the school on behalf of White for the program.
