The Hancock Board of Education awarded the bid for work needed at the facilities at its meeting Tuesday night. Jim Davis Enterprises bid for catch basins, drainage, pipe installation, site work and lot paving at the transportation department was for $348,139.00. Superintendent Dan Enich said that work is expected to begin on the removal of pyrite at Oak Glen Middle School on June 10. He noted that work will continue into January.
