The Student Leadership Team planned and attended special activities at our school this year including Open House, School Tours, the Reverse Job Fair, and Holiday parades. They assisted with SkillsUSA and fundraisers, and facilitated the implementation of the 12 protocols of Simulated Workplace. Each student being inducted into the National Technical Honor Society today has had to maintain a 3.0 grade point average and complete community service hours. These students are on track to complete their program of study and display quality employment characteristics both in and outside the classroom.

Students have the opportunity to participate in the SkillsUSA organization and to compete at the state, and sometimes, National level. The following students worked countless hours preparing for competition and represented our county very well at competition this year.

Governor’s Workforce Credential:
To achieve this award, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better; secure a minimum of one state-approved industry certification; meet the Governor’s Workforce Credential cut score on their program of study’s NOCTI test; achieve a minimum of 95% on the CTE portfolio; maintain a verified attendance rate of 95% in the senior year; and pass a minimum of 2 volunteer drug screenings during the senior year.
