The Hancock County Board of Education met at noon, June 30 to handle personnel matters.
Jim Chappel, a retired welding instructor at JDRIV, was appointed as the “Clerk of Works”, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality of workmanship is adhered to during the pyrite remediation. Chappel will also be responsible for checking all the material being used in the project to make sure it meets the specifications called for in the bid.
In other personnel items, the Board:
