Floyd “Wayne” Reed Jr, 53, of New Cumberland, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 after becoming ill at work. He was born on September 11, 1971, in Weirton, the son of Floyd and Sandra (Pickering) Reed.
He was a graduate of Oak Glen, and was employed as a shift manager at Long John Silvers in Weirton.
Besides his parents, he is survived by four daughters, Lauren and Grace Reed, both of St Clairsville and Savannah and Kennedy Reed both of WV; a sister, Heather(Ray) Walker, of Chester and niece and nephews, Paige, Mason and Logan Walker. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell, from 4 pm to time of service at 7 pm.
