The Hancock County Commission voted to advertise for two new members of the County Park Board. The Board had initially been comprised of five members but now will expand to seven. The advertisement specifies that there are no magisterial district or political party designations for the two new Board seats. The Park Board has struggled to maintain members through the past several years and has at times experienced a mass exodus of members.
