Community Educational Outreach Service to Hold Meat Raffle
The Newview CEOS club is raffling a chance to win one of three Beresford’s Meats gift cards. Only 200 tickets are being sold, at five dollars each, and winners will be drawn once all tickets are sold. Prizes are gift cards valued at $50, $150, and $300. Tickets may be purchased either by calling Becky Wiegers at 330-368-8515, or contacting any of the members listed in the pinned post on the Hancock County CEOS Facebook page.
The next regular meeting of the CEOS will take place at 11:00 a.m.,on Wednesday, September 3, at the Hancock County Senior Center on Gas Valley Road, New Cumberland, WV. The lesson, to be presented by club President Virginia Lawrence, is “Backstitch – a History of Needles, Bobbins, and Stitches,”and will follow a light lunch served by the Senior Center.
