WVU Medicine Weirton Medical Center purchased and provided new lifesaving Stop the Bleed kits to help keep our community safer. This week, Hancock and Brooke County West Virginia State Police troopers trained with the equipment right here at our hospital. Severe bleeding is the leading cause of preventable death in trauma cases. With these kits, first responders are better prepared to act quickly when every second matters.
