WVU Medicine Weirton Medical Center, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the hospital’s Purewal Rooms.
The event will feature distinguished guest speakers who will share messages of encouragement and community support with local breast cancer survivors and their guests. This year’s luncheon, led by surgeon Dr. Thomas Lheureau, will focus on the importance of building a positive, supportive environment and embracing life after a breast cancer diagnosis.
