RC&D Distributes Mini-Grants Totaling $17,500

The Northern Panhandle Resource, Conservation and Development received $17,500.00 in State funds to distribute as mini-grants. According to Jim Anderson, RC&D chairman, those receiving grants included the following: Magic Tree Community Garden – $3,000.00; Tri-State Area Master Gardener – $750.00; Hancock County Extension Hydroponics Gardening Tower – $3,500.00. Over $7,000.00 came to Hancock County. RC&D received a $10,000.00 Outreach Grant from funds sponsored by National Resources Conservation Service with funds being awarded to. ATA Elementary – $500; Hancock County 4-H All Stars Apple Butter Project $1,880.00.
