A daylong schedule of activities culminated by a visit by Santa himself is slated for Chester’s Hometown Christmas. The day’s activities will include the following:
9 a.m. –Jingle Bell Run starts at 812 Carolina Avenue.
a.m. until 3 p.m. — Street artists & vendors – Carolina Avenue
a.m. until 5 p.m. – Women’s Auxiliary & Craft Show – American Legion
2 p.m. – FISH Benefit.- Chinese Auction
1 p.m. – Free Gingerbread House
2 p.m. – Chili Cookoff – Chester Lions
11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Carriage Ride – Citizen’s Drug Parking Lot
12:30 – Caricatures
2 p.m. – Parade lineup
3 p.m. – Parade
