Del. Pat McGeehan (R-1st) has drafted a bill “Emergency Fund Bill” which will be introduced in the House of Delegates on Thursday. A companion bill will be introduced in the Senate. The purpose of the bill is to provide condition based emergency funding for financially distressed counties.
