Chaplain Kathy Griffith gave a reading from Walking In Grace as the Thought for the Day. Mary Lou Martindill, secretary, read the minutes of the previous meeting and took roll call.
President-elect Michelle Lewis requested members provide volunteer information for the altruistic report. Ginger Greene, Bylaws Chairman, reported that the updated Policies and Procedures manual will be submitted to the state bylaws chair. The selection of representatives for the Nominating Committee were approved by the members.
The February meeting will include a silent auction with proceeds being donated to Cystic Fibrosis.
The business meeting was adjourned and members worked with the staff at the Swaney Memorial Library as a service project. Areas of assistance included cleaning cupboards in the kitchen and working on labeling publication dates for books in specific areas of the library.
