Hi, I’m Zach Adams — a lifelong resident of Newell, West Virginia, proud dad of four, and someone who truly cares about our community and our schools. My wife and I have raised our four children right here in Hancock County, and they’ve all gone through our local school system. I’ve sat in the same parent-teacher conferences, cheered in the same gymnasiums, and shared the same concerns and celebrations as so many other parents in our community. Education is personal to me. I also have two sisters who are veteran teachers in the county, so I’ve had countless conversations about what’s working, what’s challenging, and what our educators really need. That perspective — as a parent and as a brother to teachers — allows me to understand and advocate for our schools from multiple sides. Professionally, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Management, and a Master’s in Business Administration specializing in Forensic Accounting. In simple terms, I understand budgets, oversight, and accountability — skills that are important when it comes to protecting taxpayer dollars and making sure our school system operates with transparency and integrity. I’m running because I care. I care about our students. I care about our teachers — both professional and classified staff. And I care about making sure our schools are strong, supported, and set up to succeed. I’m here to listen, to learn, and to work alongside our community. I’d truly be honored to earn your support.
