PSA FROM FRANK SIX :ALL DRIVERS COMING FROM NEWELL. Please be patient with drivers coming off of the bridge and getting through the intersection . THE TRFFIC LIGHTS ARE NOT GIVING THEM TIME TO CROSS BEFORE YOURS TURNS GREEN!! The instant the bridge light turns red the Newell light turns green. There’s 100 ft between the red light on the bridge and the lane headed to Chester which requires at least 2-3 seconds. So therefore the result is Newell traffic has already started moving before bridge traffic can get across intersection. I had asked this to be corrected with getting light time extended yesterday but contractor said he was not authorized to do that(even though that was part of my request to the WVDOH). I’m working on getting it fixed so there are no accidents. Please spread the word!
