MOUNTAINEER CARE TEAM CLEANS UP RT 2 THROUGH NEW CUMBERLAND

Members of the Mountaineer Race Track and Casino Care Team recently completed their Adopt-a-Highway program through New Cumberland.  They started to the south of town at Ballantyne Road and walked to the intersection of Routes 2 and 8, a total of two miles.  Along the way, they picked up 11 bags of roadside trash, totaling 450 pounds.  This is the second year that the team has participated in the program.  A special thanks to all the volunteers for their clean-up efforts and for making New Cumberland shine a little brigher.  Shown in the photo (l–r) Traci Desenze, Bob Osborne, Justin Gaston, Mary Lou Orrechio, Patti Toomey, Samantha Seigler and Lacey Dokes (back).  Not pictured is Britni Koski.
