Family matriarch Louella M. Wilson of Hookstown passed away at Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center in Beaver on Thursday, May 2, 2024, after a brief illness. She was 93 years old.Louella was the daughter of the late Charles and Hattie Pyle Pifer. She was born in Cairo, West Virginia on May 12, 1930.Louella’s years were spent caring for her home and providing solid values for her family. Her husband Rosemond, and children were blessed to have a wonderful and caring relationship with Louella.Left to cherish her memories are her children, Rita (Paul) McDowell of Enon Valley, and Charles (Shirley Hurley) Wilson of Hookstown; and her grandchildren, Christine Marko, Paul Rambo III, John Rambo, Timothy McDowell, Mark Rambo, Luke Rambo, Nicholas Wilson, and Daniel Rambo. Her brother, Pearly (Edna) Pifer survives as well as several grand, and great-grandchildren.Her parents, her husband, Rosemond A. Wilson, and her daughter, Loretta Rambo preceded Louella in death.Friends may call on Saturday, May 4, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where her grandson, Luke Rambo will officiate services on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Private burial will take place Monday at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery in Georgetown, PA.
