With just a few weeks left before the start of school, the Hancock County Board of Education acted on the following personnel issues:
**Accepted the resignation of Stephanie Baumgardner as a countywide substitute teacher;
**Assigned Mary Kimberland, Aries Headmond and Logan Rolhney as countywide substitute teachers;
**Added five shared days for high school counselor Julie Macaluso to assist with scheduling;
**Approved the following coaching assignments: OGMS- Brock Beaty and Nathan Six, assistant football coaches; Alexis Swan, assistant volleyball; WEIR HIGH, Braden Price, assistant football;
**Approved Steven Martin as electrician II in the Maintenance Dept;
**Transferred Jessica Mercer from Supervisory Aide/ECCAT, Weirton Elementary to Custodian IV, Weir High, and Catina Lamp from Cook II, Weir High to Supervisory Aide II-IV/ECCAT, Weirton Elementary;
**Transferred Tom Gruda from substitute chief mechanic to substitute bus operator;
**Granted a leave of absence to Tiffany Givens;
**Deferred action on putting the policy “Experience Credit for Critical Trades Employees” out for comment as the attorneys said it is not quite ready.
