- I’m running for Hancock County Commissioner because I believe local government should be honest, authentic, responsive, and focused on the real needs of the people it serves. My background isn’t in politics; it’s in people. I’ve worked in retail, customer service, hospitality, and the mortgage industry, helping individuals and families navigate real-life challenges. These experiences taught me how policy decisions impact people across our community, especially during stressful or uncertain times. I’ve learned how to listen, communicate clearly, and find solutions, all skills that are essential for effective leadership.Currently, I’m a small online business owner. Running my own business has given me firsthand experience with budgeting, time management, and the challenges small businesses face. Additionally, I’m a part-time virtual escape room host. This role focuses on team building as I guide teams through problem-solving in real time, keep them engaged, and create a positive, collaborative environment. This experience directly translates to working with the public and bringing people together to work towards a common goal.I also hold a bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology, which has honed my critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to make informed decisions. I have a strong passion for learning and enjoy researching issues to fully understand them and make thoughtful, well-informed choices. I bring both practical, real-world experience and a thoughtful, analytical approach to the table.I believe in listening, sharing thoughts, and solving problems side by side. So far in my campaign, I’ve had the opportunity to meet and converse with community members, hearing their concerns and ideas for the county. I look forward to having many more open conversations with residents to learn how to best serve Hancock County. I’m ready to work alongside the community and bring fresh energy and innovation. If elected, I will prioritize responsible budgeting, protecting essential services, and building strong partnerships that promote economic growth and enhance community well-being. I firmly believe in a people-first leadership approach that values honesty, collaboration, and accountability.Hancock County is full of hardworking, resilient people who care deeply about where they live. I’m running to make sure their voices are heard and to help build a stronger, more stable future for our community.<
