I would venture to say that every voter has their mind made up by now. The recent controversy that has played out in recent Commission meetings has made most residents even more aware of the upcoming election. The variable that can swing an election will take place tomorrow. Doesn’t matter what you write or how you think……it only matters that you vote. Candidates have won or lost on a one or two votes. Maybe you were going to vote on the way home from work and it slipped your mind or maybe you had every good intention but that line was long and you had somewhere to be.
Whatever the reason, there’s simply no excuse not to show up and exercise your right to vote and there’s no reason good enough to shirk your responsibility to vote. If you care about the direction your school board, city, and county is headed you can only make a difference at the ballot box. Call your friends and neighbors and urge them to vote. If they need a ride to the polls offer to take them.
Vote like your future depends on it…….because it does!
