Gavin R. Malcomb of Chester, WV is this year’s recipient of the Kelsey J. Hayward Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship is for those students who have taken an active part in producing art- no matter the form. It is for students whose lives have been enriched by the arts.
Students must have a 3.2 GPA, must have served their community, and also plan to attend either university or trade school following graduation.
Gavin may continue his education at Eastern Gateway Community College. He has also been accepted to West Liberty University. Gavin is going to continue to serve his community by assistant directing at Oak Glen High School Little Theatre. He will pass down his knowledge of theatre to younger generations as long as he is willing.
