‘FROM GARDEN TO PANTRY’ WORKSHOPS OFFERED

   The Newview Community Educational Outreach Service (Hancock County CEOS), in partnership with WVU Hancock County Extension, Hancock County 4-H Foundation, Brooke-Hancock Family Resource Network and Try This WV, are offering a series of food preservation workshops this summer:

   Waterbath & Pressure Canning – August 17, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

   Pickling & Relishes – August 24, 4p.m. to 8 p.m.

  Freezing & Dehydration – September 1, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  The workshops will be held in the dining hall at 4-H Camp Aura on Ross Road, New Cumberland.  The workshops are hands-on.  Because class size is limited to eight, an RSVP is required.  Cost of the workshop is $15, payable in advance.  The $15 includes all materials and refreshments.
