Jay Adams, 77, of Newell, passed away December 13, 2022.
Born July 24, 1945, he was the son of the late Carlos and Elizabeth (Stonebraker) Adam
Jay worked for the Boilermakers Union 154 and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Jay “Butch” Adams Surviving are his wife, Linda (Hand) Adams of Newell; a daughter, Kathleen (Frank) Bragg of Newell; a son, Steven (Nicole) Adams of Delaware, Mike Brennan , whom was like a son of New Cumberland; grandchildren, Kelly Rae (Brandon) Ates, Derek (Tiffany) Bragg, Chelsea (Stephanie) Bragg, Joshua (Meredith) Adams, Justin (Natalie) Adams, Jared (Tori) Adams, Dylan Adams; Jacob Adams and Jeremy Adams; great-grandchildren, Brenden, Kalli, Thea, Jaylin, Jordan, Jayden, Marianna, Aubrianna, Easton, Carson, Bryson, Elaina and Enyx and fur baby, Bruiser and great-grand dog, Smalls. A sister, Lisa Hotaling of Pa.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 2pm until time of funeral services at 4pm, at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV.
