.Vincent A. “Rusty” Haddox II, of Newell passed at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh on Monday, February 6, 2023, from complications of a stroke he suffered on Friday.Rusty was born in East Liverpool on May 30, 1967. He was 55 years old. He was the son of the late Vincent A. and Carla Grimm Haddox. He was also preceded by John and Gert McCullough who he called Pap & Nan, and who helped raise him.Rusty worked for Allied Universal Security at the Shell plant in Newell. He had worked at Werkheiser’s Hardware, Homer Laughlin China Company, Mountaineer, and Crown Café in Newell earlier. Rusty was a kindhearted gentle man who didn’t know a stranger and had many friends. An avid Cleveland Browns fan, he loved playing softball and fantasy sports and listing to classic rock.Devastated by his loss are his children, Bub (Marissa) Haddox of Newell, Derek ( Baylee) Haddox of Weirton, Morgan Haddox of Newell, and Bryce Haddox of Arizona. He leaves his beloved K-9 companion Mercedes as well. In addition, his sister, Lori Money of Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews also survive.Friends are invited to help Rusty’s family celebrate his life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where they will be present on Thursday, February 9, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
