Highest Honor Students Named for Class of ‘2023
The 60th graduating class of Oak Glen High School is comprised of 121 students.
The highest honor students for the class of 2023 are:
Sarah Ashley Brown is 18 years of age and the daughter of David and Sheryl Brown of Chester. She was a member of key club (4 years), pep club (2 years), prom committee (2 years), homecoming committee (4 years), National Honor Society (2 years), Class Secretary (3 years), Student Council Representative (1 year), student council treasurer (1 year), softball (4 years), basketball (4 years), Weirton Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program, and WV Rhododendron Girls State. She also participated in Pittsburgh Spirit Travel Softball.
Her hobbies are spending time with family and friends, weight training, attending sporting events, and going to the movies.
Following high school graduation, Sarah plans to attend Slippery Rock University and plan to be a chiropractor and continue playing softball.
Sydney Nicole Brown is 18 years of age and the daughter of David and Sheryl Brown of Chester. She was a member of key club (4 years), pep club (2 years), prom committee (2 years), homecoming committee (4 years), National Honor Society (2 years), Class President (3 years), Student Council Representative (1 year), student council secretary (1 year), softball (4 years), basketball (4 years), Soccer (3 years), Weirton Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program, and WV Rhododendron Girls State. She also participated in Pittsburgh Spirit Travel Softball.
Her hobbies are spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and crafting.
Following high school graduation, Sydney plans to attend Slippery Rock University and major in biology.
Brady Mitchell Chaney is 18 years of age and the son of Pat and Amy Chaney of Chester. He was a member of basketball (4 years), golf (4 years), and National Honor Society (2 years).
Following high school graduation, Brady plans to attend West Liberty University and major in accounting.
Lydia Anna DiBiagio is 18 years of age and the daughter of Tony DiBiagio and Becky Eastham of New Cumberland. She was a member of cross country (4 years), band (4 years), theatre (4 years), and National Honor Society (2 years). She also participated in Striplight Community Theatre and Michelle’s Dance Studio competition squad.
Her hobbies are reading, painting, drawing and gardening.
Following high school graduation, Lydia plans to attend West Liberty University and major in aquatic science.
Jennifer Marie DiLullo is 18 years of age and the daughter of David and Vicki DiLullo of New Cumberland. She was a member of National Honor Society (2 years), band (4 years), swimming (4 years), track (4 years), and cross country (1 year). She also participated in community service at Allison Elementary and alter serve at church.
Her hobbies are reading.
Following high school graduation, Jennifer plans to attend West Liberty University and major in healthcare.
Nolan Russell Firman is 17 years of age and the son of Steve and Kelly Firman of New Cumberland. He was a member of pep club (3 years), culture club (3 years), and National Honor Society (2 years). He also worked at Hale’s High Street Kitchen.
His hobbies are listening to music.
Following high school graduation, Nolan plans to attend West Virginia University and major in public relations.
Maeghan Brooke Fisher is 18 years of age and the daughter of Jeff and Laura Fisher of New Cumberland. She was a member of soccer (4 years), tennis (4 years), national honor society (2 years), prom committee (2 years), and JDR Career Center therapeutics (2 years). She also participated in Ohio Valley Racquet Club (5 years) and is active with United Methodist Church.
Her hobbies are tennis, hanging out with friends, and playing video games.
Following high school graduation, Maeghan plans to attend Fairmont State University and major in forensic science.
Alexis Mykayla Gray is 17 years of age and the daughter of Jeremy Gray and Renee Duffield of Newell. She was a member of National Honor Society (2 years), prom committee (1 year), and chess club (1 year). She also participated in the Newell Volunteer Fire Department as a fire fighter.
Her hobbies are playing ukulele, piano, and guitar.
Following high school graduation, Alexis plans to attend Fairmont State University and major in English Education.
Alexus BriAnn Greenlief is 18 years of age and the daughter of Keith and Cameo Greenlief of Chester. She was a member of volleyball (1 year), soccer (3 years), basketball (4 years), and National Honor Society (2 years). She also participated in JO volleyball, travel soccer, Ohio River Renegades, AAU basketball, Steel City Warriors, OV Dragons, OV Hornets, Jr Bear basketball referee.
Her hobbies are sports, swimming and building legos with her brother.
Following high school graduation, Alexus plans to attend Waynesburg University and then major in forensic biology and criminal justice.
Riley Renee Harris is 18 years of age and the daughter of Jason Harris and Angelina Six of Chester. She was a member of track (1 year), track stats (2 years), wrestling stats (2 years), and culture club (2 years), and academic challenge (3 years). She also participated as a volunteer at the animal shelter.
Her hobbies are writing, reading, and being in nature.
Following high school graduation, Riley plans to travel and write.
Aubrey Amy Michelle Haynes is 18 years of age and the daughter of Jason and Brooke Haynes of Chester. She was a member of National Honor Society (2 years), pep club (3 years), prom committee (1 year), homecoming court (2 years), prom court (1 year), and wrestling stats (3 years).
Following high school graduation, Aubrey plans to attend West Virginia University and major in biology and geneology.
Kittawana Bree McKinley is 18 years of age and the daughter of Donny McKinley of Newell. She was a member of volleyball (1 year), tennis (4 years), and National Honor Society (2 years). She also participated in Wellsville Mission trips.
Her hobbies are sports, reading, and working out.
Following high school graduation, Kittawana plan to attend West Liberty University and major in nursing.
Samuel Cole Webster is 18 years of age and the son of Bart and Mandie Webster of New Cumberland. He was a member of track (3 years), cross country (2 years), National Honor Society (2 years), and prom court (1 year).
His hobbies are E-sports.
Following high school graduation, Samuel plans to attend West Virginia University and major in aerospace & mechanical enginnering.
Shea Emmalyn Wimberley is 17 years of age and the daughter of David and Gloria Wimberley of New Cumberland. She was a member of Band (4 years), Theatre (4 years), Recorder Ensemble (3 years), and Culture Club (4 years).
Her hobbies are reading, cooking, and crocheting.
Following high school graduation, Shea plans to attend the West Liberty University and major in business.
