The boys and girls’ cross country teams earned the second spot in the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference championships among the 4A schools. St. Clairsville took home the two top trophies, edging Oak Glen’s boys by 38 points and the girls by only 25 points.
“Our boys and girls finished fourth last year.,” stated Coach Michael Moran. “I am extremely pleased with the progress of all of our runners, compared to our 2019 season and when looking at the last three months. This accomplishment is a great motivator as we approach our Regional meet next week.”
Runners who set personal records this week include Nick Gallo, Kyle Swan, Cody Willey, Kennedy McGeehan, Joey Jones and Lydia DiBiagio. The Golden Bears head to Frankfort High School in Ridgeley, WV, for the Regional Meet on Wednesday, October 21st.
