Obituaries

Laura D. Power passed on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh where she was taken after becoming suddenly ill at her home in East Liverpool.
70 years old Laura was born in Berlin Heights Ohio on July 12, 1949. She was a daughter of the late Gerald Brant and Irene J. Good Link.
A former hairdresser, Laura was a wonderful mother, raising her family with loving care, creating memories that will last a lifetime. She could often be found volunteering at the Way Station in East Liverpool, an attribute that portrayed her caring attitude toward others. Also, she was a graduate of Norwalk High School in Ohio.
Laura leaves behind the love of her life, Tom Shields, with whom she lived. Mourning her loss are her children, Kenneth Bryan (Kim) Power of Burr Oak, MI., Bobbi Jeanette (Dave) Bryson of Wellsville, and Juli Lynn Conyer of East Liverpool. In addition, Laura leaves her sister, Norma Jean Miller of Sandusky, OH., fourteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Private services are planned at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
