Reading Nook by Kirsten Pierce

We are currently collecting donations of canned goods for the New Cumberland Food Closet. They can be placed in the tote on the library’s front porch. The Yellow Ribbon Girls also have a box at the library for donations of plastic bags they use to make items that are sent to our troops. Donations are always welcome!
Swaney Memorial Library’s fall story hour Read Together is doing well. If you’re interested in joining, we meet at 4:30 every Wednesday (except November 11th) at the library. You can also watch the videos online on the library’s face book page.
We will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th, for Veteran’s Day and on Thursday, November 26th, and Friday, November 27th, for Thanksgiving. We continue to offer free wi-fi services through WV Kids Connect 24/7, whether we are open or closed.
