The Alpha Tau chapter (WV) of Alpha Delta Kappa, International Honorary Organization for Women Educators held its November meeting online via Zoom. President Diane Bowers called the meeting to order.
The Thought for the Day, a reading from “Devotions for Teachers”, was given by Chaplain Kathy Griffith.
Roll call was taken and minutes of the October meeting were read by secretary Velda Icard. Treasurer Fran Jones gave the financial report. Committee reports were given. Four members attended the Ohio Valley District meeting which was held at the Follansbee Community Center. Those attending were Diane Bowers, Ginger Greene, Kathy Griffith and Fran Jones. The group discussed upcoming program ideas and members participated in a Show and Tell session involving precious mementos.
The tri-chapter meeting normally held in December was cancelled. Instead, a regular chapter meeting will be held on December 8.
